The movie takes place in 1964.
An ex-SS Nazi scientist, Von Duffel, maintains a secret base deep in a Southeast Asian jungle, where he's kidnapped scientists to work on a secret project. He keeps a pterodactyl, Turu, as his personal security, in addition to gun-toting guards with floating platforms.
